In a significant step toward strengthening military cooperation, senior air force leaders from the United States and India held high-level discussions in Arlington, Texas. The meeting focused on enhancing operational coordination, joint training exercises, and overall defense collaboration between the two countries.
US Air Force Chief General Kenneth Wilsbach hosted Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh, who was received with full ceremonial honors. The discussions brought together top leadership from both sides to exchange insights on improving interoperability, advancing capabilities, and promoting shared learning across air force operations.
As part of the visit, Air Chief Marshal Singh participated in multiple engagements, including strategic interactions at Peterson Space Force Base and Nellis Air Force Base. He also experienced a familiarization flight aboard an advanced F-15EX fighter aircraft, highlighting the technological capabilities of the US Air Force.
Earlier during the trip, Singh visited Peterson Space Force Base for in-depth strategic discussions. He also met General Gregory M. Guillot, Commander of US Northern Command, where both sides explored key operational perspectives and evolving defense strategies.
The visit drew attention from diplomatic circles as well. US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor welcomed the Indian Air Chief and expressed optimism about further strengthening defense ties between the two nations. Similarly, Indian Ambassador to the United States Vinay Mohan Kwatra received Singh upon his arrival and emphasized the importance of sustained cooperation between the two air forces.
The series of engagements highlighted the growing alignment between India and the United States in defense matters. Officials described the discussions as productive, noting that both sides exchanged views on complex operational frameworks and future collaboration opportunities.
Air Chief Marshal Singh’s visit, which began on April 6, played a key role in reinforcing the strategic partnership between the two countries.
