Politician Raghav Chadha has publicly praised his wife, actress Parineeti Chopra, for her performance in Netflix’s mystery thriller “Shaque: Trust No One,” describing the series as an engaging and suspense-filled watch.
In a social media post, Chadha shared his enthusiasm for the seven-episode drama, revealing that its unfolding mysteries kept him captivated until the finale. He said each episode challenged his assumptions and intensified his curiosity about the identity of the person responsible for a kidnapping at the center of the story.
Chadha also recalled attending the series’ premiere alongside close friends and family, making the occasion particularly memorable. While acknowledging the cast’s contribution to the drama, he singled out Chopra for her portrayal of Anvita. He expressed pride in her work, adding that his appreciation extended beyond his role as her husband because he genuinely enjoyed the thriller.
“Shaque: Trust No One” features Chopra alongside Jennifer Winget, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Soni Razdan, Anup Soni and Sumeet Vyas. The story follows a mother’s desperate search for her missing daughter, with suspense and uncertainty driving the narrative. The series premiered on Netflix on September 24, 2026.
Chopra recently discussed another significant aspect of making the series: discovering that she was pregnant after filming had already started. Speaking at the trailer launch, the actress explained that neither she nor Chadha knew about the pregnancy before production began.
She said the couple felt fortunate that she was working with the team behind “Shaque” during this period. According to Chopra, learning about the pregnancy midway through filming introduced additional considerations, particularly regarding her professional responsibilities and the need to ensure that production continued without disruption.
The actress expressed gratitude toward the project’s makers, including director Rensil D’Silva and producers Siddharth P. Malhotra and Sapna Malhotra, whom she credited in her remarks. She reflected on the pressure of balancing an unexpected personal development with her commitment to the production.
Chopra’s comments offer a glimpse into the circumstances surrounding her work on the thriller, while Chadha’s public appreciation has drawn further attention to her performance. With its ensemble cast and kidnapping-centered mystery, “Shaque: Trust No One” marks a notable streaming project for the actress.
