The United States and India have reinforced their strategic security partnership with a renewed emphasis on counter-terrorism cooperation during high-level meetings held in Washington, DC.
India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri engaged in discussions with senior US officials, including FBI Director Kash Patel, focusing on strengthening joint efforts to combat terrorism, organized crime, and narcotics trafficking. The talks highlighted the growing alignment between the two nations in addressing shared security threats.
According to the Indian Embassy, the meeting between Misri and Patel included a detailed exchange of perspectives on the effectiveness of ongoing cooperation in countering terrorism-related activities and transnational criminal networks.
