Airbnb and India’s Ministry of Tourism have signed an MoU to promote India as a top tourism destination and showcase its cultural heritage. The partnership aims to highlight the significance of India’s heritage properties and encourage travelers to embark on immersive journeys through the country’s diverse cultural tapestry.
As part of the collaboration, Airbnb has launched the ‘Soul of India’ microsite, featuring a range of heritage stays. Additionally, Airbnb will support hosts in untapped tourist areas, promote their homestays, and foster responsible hosting. This partnership reflects the shared commitment of both Airbnb and the Ministry of Tourism to boost India’s global tourism presence through joint promotional strategies and campaigns.
The collaboration will contribute to the growth of inbound tourism, create economic opportunities for local communities, and position India as a unique destination on the global tourism map.
