The Ayodhya administration is undertaking a groundbreaking effort to install the world’s longest solar light line ahead of the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony. Initially spanning from Guptar Ghat to Jhunki Ghat, the project is now extending further to Nayaghat, connecting previously segmented ghats seamlessly.
In preparation for the Lord Ram Pran Pratishtha ceremony, the Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is set to launch a massive cleanliness campaign in Ayodhya from Makar Sankranti. Following this, a statewide cleanliness campaign will be initiated by the Urban Development and Panchayati Raj Departments.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to preside over the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony at the Ram Temple on January 22, attracting global attention with invitations extended to VVIP guests from India and abroad. Notably, Congress leaders declined the invitation, branding it as an event of the BJP and RSS.
Vedic rituals for the ‘Pran-Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya commence on January 16, a week before the main ceremony on January 22, during the Amrit Mahotsav. Priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit from Varanasi will officiate the primary rituals.
A 1008 Hundi Mahayagya and multiple tent cities in Ayodhya aim to accommodate the influx of devotees for the grand ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony, with arrangements for 10,000-15,000 people. Local authorities are intensifying security and logistical measures for a smooth and spiritually enriching experience.
