At the trailer launch, Ranbir revealed he portrayed the “most complex character” of his career in Animal, emphasizing the exploration of violence and societal questions in the film.
In reference to his character, Ranbir differentiated it as not merely “darkness” but the most intricate role he has taken on. Discussing violence, he emphasized its psychological aspects, delving into the human mind’s capabilities and societal perspectives on right and wrong. Ranbir praised Bobby Deol, citing an immediate connection due to their Punjabi background. He fondly recalled their bond while shooting shirtless in freezing temperatures in London, highlighting the warmth between them.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal’s trailer unveils a violent narrative intertwined with the strained relationship between Ranbir’s character, Arjun Singh, and his father, Balbir Singh, portrayed by Anil Kapoor.
