The upcoming phase of the ‘Rozgar Mela’ organized by the government is being prepared for, aiming to create employment opportunities. This initiative, which is part of a larger effort to provide jobs for 1 million young individuals in the central government sector, will see Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributing over 51,000 appointment letters tomorrow. Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to virtually address the newly appointed individuals.
Scheduled to take place at 45 different locations across the nation, the Rozgar Mela intends to recruit candidates for various roles within central armed police forces like the CRPF, BSF, SSB, Assam Rifles, CISF, ITBP, NCB, and the Delhi Police. These recruits, hailing from different parts of the country, will assume positions like constables and sub-inspectors within different organizations under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The enhanced capabilities of the CAPFs and Delhi Police, resulting from this initiative, will enable these forces to perform their diverse responsibilities more effectively. These include tasks such as maintaining internal security, countering terrorism, addressing insurgencies, combating left-wing extremism, and safeguarding the nation’s borders. An official statement highlighted that this effort will not only spur additional employment generation but also furnish valuable prospects for the youth to empower themselves and actively engage in national development.
The initial phase of the Rozgar Mela was inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi in October 2022. During this phase, over 75,000 newly recruited individuals were presented with appointment letters, as reported by News On Air.
