Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened a high-level roundtable with CEOs and founders of India’s leading AI and deeptech startups at Seva Teerth, reinforcing the government’s commitment to fostering innovation and establishing India as a global technology leader.
The session included executives from Abridge, Adalat AI, BrainSightAI, Credo AI, Eka Care, Glean, Innogle, Invideo, Miko, Origin, Prophaze, Rasen, Rubrik, SatSure, Supernova, and Sypha AI. Senior government officials, including Principal Secretary Shri P K Mishra, Principal Secretary-2 Shri Shaktikanta Das, and Minister of State Shri Jitin Prasada, provided guidance on policy frameworks and public-private collaboration.
Startups presented innovations across healthcare, agriculture, cybersecurity, space, and AI-enabled education. Discussions highlighted applications in environmental monitoring, disaster response, and efficient public service delivery, showcasing the societal impact of emerging technologies. Key innovations included predictive agricultural tools, AI-driven diagnostics, advanced cybersecurity systems, and platforms enhancing regional language education and rural healthcare access.
PM Modi stressed the importance of India-centric innovation that is socially impactful and commercially viable, emphasising ethical AI practices, robust data governance, and responsible technology deployment. Senior officials provided insights on scaling startups, strengthening public-private partnerships, and navigating regulatory frameworks.
Participants valued the roundtable as a unique opportunity to directly engage with policymakers, align initiatives with national priorities, and accelerate solutions delivering tangible societal benefits. The meeting concluded with a commitment to continue fostering dialogue and cooperation between the government and India’s emerging technology sector.
