The AI India Impact Summit 2026, set to take place in New Delhi from February 16, is designed around three foundational pillars: People, Planet, and Progress. This strategic approach, outlined by Additional Secretary and CEO of India AI Mission, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Abhishek Singh, positions India as a global “Tech Garage,” leveraging artificial intelligence to drive employment, economic growth, and societal impact. The summit will showcase AI’s transformative potential across critical sectors including healthcare, education, agriculture, climate solutions, and manufacturing, aligning with India’s Viksit Bharat vision.
Singh emphasized that AI is far more than a technological trend—it is a societal force capable of delivering tangible benefits for both communities and the environment. The event will also explore applications of AI in micro and small enterprises, highlighting opportunities for productivity gains and enhanced competitiveness. By bringing AI solutions to grassroots businesses, the summit aims to ensure that technological advancements drive inclusive economic growth.
Chief Architect at NITI Frontier Tech Hub, Debjani Ghosh, stressed that building AI-related skills is central to realizing India’s AI ambitions. According to her, skill development will act as the backbone of India’s AI ecosystem, enabling micro, small, and medium enterprises to leverage AI for productivity and operational efficiency.
Organized in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry, the five-day summit under the theme “Driving Equitable Growth and Societal Good” will assemble voices from government, industry, and innovation sectors. Participants will engage in discussions, workshops, and demonstrations that highlight practical AI applications and strategic insights for large-scale adoption.
