US Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, is set to travel to India soon to participate in a high-profile gathering of intelligence chiefs hosted by New Delhi. This visit will mark the first official trip to India by a senior Trump administration official.
Gabbard shared her upcoming travel plans on X, mentioning visits to Japan, Thailand, and India, with a short stop in France before heading back to Washington, D.C.
India annually organizes a strategic meeting of intelligence chiefs from various nations before the Raisina Dialogue. This year, the event is scheduled to take place in New Delhi on March 16-17.
Among the notable attendees will be Daniel Rogers, Canada’s intelligence chief, whose participation could indicate a potential warming of relations between India and Canada, following a period of diplomatic tensions under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Additionally, intelligence officials from West Asian nations and representatives from Russia are also expected to be present at the summit.
