US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor recently met Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari in Jaipur, reinforcing efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the United States and the Indian state of Rajasthan. Earlier in the day, Ambassador Gor also visited the US Consulate in Kolkata, where he highlighted its historical significance as one of the oldest American diplomatic missions globally. He underscored its role in strengthening engagement with eastern and northeastern India.
During his visit, he also spent time at the Missionaries of Charity, where he paid tribute to Mother Teresa’s legacy of service and humanitarian work. He remarked that her life of faith and compassion continues to inspire people across the world.
