During this historic state visit, America’s Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti, declared it as the “most extraordinary” visit ever witnessed in the bilateral relationship between the two nations. He expressed that while there have been significant moments in the past, this visit stood out due to its deep and wide-ranging agenda. The discussions covered not just aspirations but also real deliverables, encompassing aspects such as the economy, defense, and what Garcetti referred to as the four Ps – peace, prosperity, the planet, and the people they represent.
Moreover, during the same visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a noteworthy appearance by addressing the joint session of the US Congress, an honor he received for the second time. Garcetti emphasized that this visit had an exceptional impact on US-India relations and was a defining moment in their history.
