During its stay in Brooklyn, INS Sudarshini welcomed more than 1,000 visitors, including members of the Indian diaspora, local communities, and maritime enthusiasts.
Visitors had the opportunity to learn about India’s naval sailing traditions, ship operations, and the country’s historic connection with the oceans. The ship served as a symbol of India’s goodwill, acting as a floating ambassador that connected people through maritime diplomacy.
