During his stay, PM Modi will engage in discussions with President Trump, senior US officials, and industry leaders to strengthen collaboration across various sectors, including trade, defense, energy, and supply chain resilience. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal highlighted the visit’s significance in advancing bilateral relations and addressing shared global challenges.
Indian-American leaders and Trump supporters expressed enthusiasm for the visit, seeing it as a pivotal moment in India-US diplomacy. Entrepreneur Asha Jadeja described the visit as “unprecedented and impactful,” while Alka Vyas praised PM Modi’s leadership and vision for India’s progress.
PM Modi is staying at Blair House, a historic residence for visiting world leaders. His trip follows ongoing high-level engagements between Indian and US officials, including recent meetings involving External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Ahead of this visit, PM Modi also held talks with US Vice President JD Vance in France, discussing energy security and investment in clean nuclear technology.
