Northfield Bank and Northfield Bancorp, Inc. have disclosed the appointment of Dr. Rachana A. Kulkarni as a director on their boards, effective February 1, 2024.
Steven M. Klein, the chairman and CEO, highlighted Kulkarni’s diverse skills and community contributions, expressing confidence that her role will be instrumental in the ongoing development and growth of the organization.
Dr. Kulkarni currently holds the position of regional director of cardiology at Barnabas Health Corp and serves as the president and managing partner of Medicor Cardiology, a leading cardiology group in New Jersey.
Residing in Skillman, New Jersey, Kulkarni boasts board certifications in internal medicine, cardiology, and nuclear cardiology. In addition to her professional roles, she holds executive positions in various non-profit organizations, including Akshaya Patra USA, the world’s largest non-governmental organization advocating for school lunch programs.
Kulkarni’s educational background encompasses a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Auburn University, a master’s degree in medicine from the Government Medical College of India and Rutgers University, and a certificate in management excellence from Harvard University.
