Senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) described the party’s improving electoral performance in states such as West Bengal and Assam as the beginning of a “golden phase” for the organization across India. According to them, the latest trends reflect growing public confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party’s governance model.
Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva stated that the party is witnessing strong outcomes in multiple states. He highlighted that the BJP is set to continue its governance in Assam and is also performing well in regions like Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala. He emphasized that these results indicate widespread acceptance of the party’s leadership at the national level.
Sachdeva further noted that developments in West Bengal hold symbolic importance for the party, linking them to the legacy of historical political ideologies from the region. He suggested that the current political shift represents the fulfillment of long-standing political aspirations associated with that legacy. He also credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership as a key factor behind the party’s expanding support base, stating that the leadership continues to meet public expectations across different regions.
Assam BJP President Dilip Saikia described the electoral performance in his state as historic, attributing the outcome to strong public trust in both the central and state leadership. He thanked voters for their support and acknowledged the combined efforts of PM Modi and Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in driving development initiatives in the state. Saikia also assured that the party would work toward fulfilling all commitments made in its election manifesto over the coming years.
Meanwhile, Bihar BJP President Sanjay Saraogi also welcomed the party’s performance in West Bengal, describing it as a significant moment for party workers. He congratulated supporters and emphasized that the results reflected a strong political wave in favor of the BJP. He further stated that voters had expressed a desire for political change and supported what he called a transparent electoral process.
Across their statements, BJP leaders collectively framed the election outcomes as a sign of increasing public trust and organizational strength. They reiterated that the party remains committed to delivering on promises, improving governance, and maintaining its momentum in upcoming political contests across various states.
