In preparation for the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony on January 22, 2024, at the Ram Lala Temple in Ayodhya, Vedic rituals are set to commence on January 16. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend the grand event, drawing dignitaries and individuals from diverse backgrounds to Ayodhya, the revered birthplace of Lord Rama.
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust shared images of the ongoing temple construction, highlighting the extensive arrangements and preparations. The Pran-Pratishtha ceremony for the infant Lord Ram, Ram Lala, holds immense spiritual, historical, and cultural significance.
Preparations for the consecration ceremony include:
1. Invitations to distinguished saints and individuals contributing significantly to the nation’s honor.
2. Establishment of a Tent City with essential facilities in Teerthakshetrapuram.
3. Pledges from 150 doctors to offer services at the ten-bed hospital.
4. Food distribution centers, community kitchens, and meal areas throughout the town.
5. Invitations to saints from diverse sects, spiritual leaders, and notable personalities from various fields.
6. Inclusion of veteran journalists, Karsewaks’ families, and sculptors crafting Rama Lala’s idols.
The rituals for the consecration ceremony, led by Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid ji and Lakshmikant Dikshit ji, will commence on January 16. After the consecration, a 48-day cycle of mandala puja, guided by Vishwaprasann Teerth Ji, will follow.
The Pran-Pratishtha ceremony will be part of the Amrit Mahautsav observed in Ayodhya from January 14 to 22, coinciding with various ceremonies. A significant 1008 Hundi Mahayagya aims to feed numerous devotees during the festivities. Ayodhya is actively preparing to host worshippers by setting up multiple tent cities and accommodations for 10,000-15,000 people, ensuring a seamless and spiritually fulfilling experience.
As Nepal plans to present special souvenirs for the inauguration ceremony, the ceremonies are expected to draw significant attention and participation, necessitating enhanced security measures and logistical setups.
