Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a stern warning to those behind the deadly Red Fort blast in New Delhi, vowing that every conspirator involved would face justice. Speaking from Bhutan, where he is on a two-day visit, Modi declared that the government would not rest until all perpetrators were held accountable.
“The conspirators behind this will not be spared. All those responsible will be brought to justice,” the Prime Minister asserted, expressing deep sorrow over the tragedy that claimed 12 lives and injured several others.
Addressing the public with visible emotion, Modi said, “I come here with a very heavy heart. The horrific incident that occurred in Delhi yesterday evening has deeply saddened everyone. The entire nation stands with the families of those affected.” He further assured that the government was treating the incident with utmost seriousness, staying in constant contact with security and intelligence agencies throughout the night.
“Our agencies will uncover the entire conspiracy,” he emphasized, reinforcing his government’s zero-tolerance stance on terrorism.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also echoed the Prime Minister’s sentiments, assuring citizens that a “swift and thorough” investigation was underway. “Leading investigative agencies are working tirelessly, and the findings will soon be made public. Those responsible will not be spared,” Singh said, while extending condolences to the victims’ families.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah convened a high-level security meeting to assess the situation and ensure coordinated efforts across intelligence and enforcement agencies.
Investigations have since expanded beyond Delhi. A massive search operation is being carried out at Al Falah University in Faridabad, where the prime suspect, Dr. Umar Nabi—allegedly linked to a terror module—had been residing for over three years.
Simultaneously, the Jammu and Kashmir Police, working with the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terror Squad and Lucknow Police, raided multiple locations, including the home of another suspect, Dr. Parvez Ansari, in Lucknow. Authorities believe both suspects may have ties to an organized terror network operating across several states.
As the probe intensifies, India’s top leadership has assured citizens that justice will prevail and that those responsible for the attack will face the full force of the law.
