BJP leader Amit Malviya took to social media to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s continued dominance in global leadership approval rankings. According to the most recent Morning Consult Global Leader Approval Tracker, conducted between July 4 and 10, 2025, Modi has once again emerged as the world’s highest-rated and most trusted head of state.
In a post on platform X, Malviya wrote, “Loved by over a billion Indians and admired across continents, Prime Minister Modi continues to lead with unwavering trust and respect. With the highest approval rating globally, Bharat remains in capable hands.”
The survey places Modi at a remarkable 75% approval, keeping him well ahead of South Korean leader Lee Jae-myung at 59%, Argentina’s Javier Milei at 57%, and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney at 56%. Former US President Donald Trump is ranked eighth, with a 44% approval score.
This consistent trend reflects Modi’s enduring appeal not just within India but on the global stage, as he continues to outpace several major world leaders in public trust and favorability.
Modi’s presence atop the Morning Consult global tracker isn’t new. Since at least September 2021—when he first scored a 70% rating—he has routinely maintained the lead in these international rankings. His approval rose slightly to 71% by early 2022 and remained strong through 2023, with ratings peaking at 76% across multiple polls in April, September, and December.
In February 2024, the Prime Minister achieved his highest-ever approval of 78%, solidifying his position as a global favorite. The recent 75% score further confirms this trend, demonstrating a steady hold over public perception both domestically and internationally.
The Morning Consult survey gathers data from multiple democratic countries, offering a comparative perspective on public sentiment toward world leaders. Modi’s consistent performance in this tracker highlights both his personal political capital and India’s rising global profile under his leadership.
