Indian-origin tech whiz Meedhansh Kumar Gupta from Jalandhar has achieved international acclaim at the Global Child Prodigy Awards (GCPA) 2025, an event held at the historic House of Commons, British Parliament. This annual platform honors exceptional talents under the age of 15 from around the world. At this year’s ceremony, British MP Gareth Bacon unveiled the Top 100 Child Prodigies 2025 book, showcasing global youth achievers across diverse disciplines.
Among thousands of submissions spanning 130 nations, Meedhansh stood out as the only recipient from Punjab, recognized for his pioneering efforts in education and technology. His innovation journey began at just nine years old during the COVID-19 pandemic, when he developed a telemedicine portal aimed at helping patients and doctors connect remotely.
Since then, Meedhansh has emerged as a national and global record holder. One of his most notable achievements includes earning the Youngest Website Developer title back in 2020. Driven by a mission to empower others, he has mentored thousands of students under the NGO Mission Aatmanirbhar, promoting digital education and self-reliance.
His academic determination is equally inspiring — he completed 50 tech-related courses on LinkedIn Learning within a single week, a remarkable feat that earned him global recognition and a world record.
In 2022, his contributions were honored at the highest level when Prime Minister Narendra Modi awarded him the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, India’s premier civilian honor for children, acknowledging his influence in tech and community service.
Meedhansh’s recognition at the GCPA reflects not just his brilliance, but a broader narrative of young innovators reshaping the future with purpose. His story serves as a testament to how early talent, when nurtured, can achieve global impact — from Jalandhar to the UK Parliament.
