Sony Music India Partners with The Hello Group to Offer Global Touring Opportunities for Indian Artists
Sony Music India has announced a strategic partnership with Los Angeles-based global entertainment leader The Hello Group (THG) to establish THG India. This collaboration marks a major international alliance aimed at elevating the Indian music industry by providing global exposure and touring opportunities to local Indian artists.
THG India will be based in Mumbai and serve as a comprehensive artist services platform. It will offer artist management, international event bookings, and music publishing support, allowing Indian artists to connect with global audiences more effectively than ever before.
According to Sony Music India, this initiative is a significant step in empowering Indian talent with the necessary resources and global network to scale their careers internationally. The venture combines THG’s expertise in live touring and international artist development with Sony Music India’s strong foothold and experience in the local market.
The Hello Group emphasized the importance of this collaboration in amplifying India’s voice on the world stage. The Indian music scene is rich with talent and cultural diversity, and THG India is committed to building a strong platform that supports these artists across borders. With a proven track record in organizing global tours and producing award-winning music, THG aims to give Indian artists a seamless path into global music circuits.
THG’s publishing arm has been behind more than 50 Billboard No. 1 chart-toppers and numerous platinum-certified singles and albums. They’ve worked with major international names such as BTS, NCT 127, ITZY, IVE, Steve Aoki, The Chainsmokers, ENHYPEN, TWICE, and others. Their booking agency has managed international tours for artists like Jeff Satur, Mark Ambor, I.M of MONSTA X, Kang Daniel, Greyson Chance, and more.
With the formation of THG India, both companies aim to foster a new era of international collaboration, artist development, and global live music opportunities originating from India. This partnership not only strengthens India’s growing music scene but also places Indian talent on a direct path to global recognition.
