All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leader Asaduddin Owaisi sharply criticized Pakistan for its continued support of cross-border terrorism, urging Indians to remain united in countering such threats. Commenting on the recent surge in attacks targeting civilians, Owaisi told ANI, “This has consistently been Pakistan’s approach—and unfortunately, it doesn’t appear poised to shift anytime soon.”
He accused Pakistan’s deep state of exploiting religion as a mask to justify illegal activities and fund terrorism. “Islam is simply a cover they use,” he said. Highlighting the strong sense of solidarity among Indians, he added, “The collective resolve and unity I witness today against terrorism backed by Pakistan is incredible.”
Owaisi stressed that Pakistan’s divisive tactics would fall flat. “No matter how cunning or manipulative their strategies are, they won’t succeed this time,” he declared. He cited Operation Sindoor and the recent devastation in Poonch—where artillery shelling claimed 16 lives, including four children under ten. An imam was killed, a Sikh Gurdwara was damaged, and many homes were destroyed.
He further pointed out the assassination of a Deputy Collector in Rajouri, civilian casualties from drone attacks, and the destruction of hospitals in Srinagar and Jammu.
India’s government firmly rebutted Pakistan’s false claims regarding the destruction of Indian military infrastructure. During a joint briefing by the Ministries of External Affairs and Defence, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh confirmed Pakistan’s repeated use of drones, shelling, and high-caliber artillery along the Line of Control—specifically in Kupwara, Baramulla, Rajouri, Poonch, and Akhnoor. India responded with proportionate force, causing significant damage to Pakistani forces.
She added that Pakistani troops were being mobilized closer to the front lines. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri also denounced Pakistan’s disinformation campaign, calling their claims about attacks on India’s critical infrastructure “a web of lies,” and urged citizens to remain vigilant and not fall for propaganda.
