BJP Lok Sabha representative Nishikant Dubey has raised fresh concerns regarding national security, pointing to what he described as a new layer of terrorism emerging from Pakistan. According to him, over 500,000 Pakistani women have settled in India through marriage yet haven’t secured Indian citizenship. Dubey took to social media platform X, stating that this growing population poses an internal threat to India’s security framework.
His comments come amid a broader crackdown on foreign nationals following a terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22 that claimed 26 lives. In response, India canceled visas for Pakistani citizens, excluding those on long-term, diplomatic, or official assignments. Within days, approximately 530 Pakistani nationals returned home via the Attari border, while 744 Indian citizens came back through the Wagah checkpoint.
Dubey’s rhetoric intensified during a recent public address in Jharkhand’s Deoghar district. While laying the foundation stone for the Maheshmara railway halt, he made the startling prediction that Pakistan would disintegrate by the end of 2025. He claimed the nation would break into multiple entities—Balochistan, Pakhtunistan, and Punjab—due to the rising internal dissent and international pressure.
He tied this anticipated collapse to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vow to eradicate terrorism and its enablers. Referring to Modi’s speech in Bihar after the Pahalgam attack, Dubey insisted that the Prime Minister’s firm stance is not merely political rhetoric, but a declaration of strategic intent.
Doubling down on his assertions, Dubey challenged skeptics by saying that if Pakistan isn’t divided by year-end, people have every right to question BJP’s promises. He described this belief in Modi’s leadership as the driving force behind the Prime Minister’s popularity.
Additionally, Dubey accused the Pakistani Army of targeting Indian civilians—specifically Hindus—during the Pahalgam incident. He assured the public that the Modi government would retaliate strongly and ensure justice for the victims.
