The grand spectacle of Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj has entered its final phase, drawing a multitude of celebrities and film personalities from Bollywood. Several well-known figures from the film industry, including Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, and Sonali Bendre, arrived in the sacred city on Monday to immerse themselves in the spiritual splendor of the event and express their deep-rooted faith in the traditions of Sanatan Dharma.
Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, known for his strong belief in Indian culture and traditions, took a holy dip at the revered Triveni Sangam. After completing the sacred ritual, he praised the Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, for its meticulous planning and seamless execution of one of the largest religious congregations in the world.
Sharing his experience, Akshay Kumar expressed his appreciation for the improved arrangements compared to previous years. “It was an incredible experience. The management this time is outstanding, and I sincerely thank Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. In 2019, there were some challenges, but this year, everything is remarkably well-organized,” he remarked.
The actor also acknowledged the relentless efforts of sanitation workers and cleaning staff, emphasizing their crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the vast fairgrounds. “It is because of their tireless dedication that the Maha Kumbh is receiving appreciation from everyone,” he added.
Furthermore, he lauded the police personnel for their dedication in ensuring the smooth conduct of the event. “The constant vigilance and efforts of the police force have played a key role in making Kumbh a resounding success,” he stated.
Apart from Akshay Kumar, Bollywood divas Katrina Kaif and Sonali Bendre were also seen participating in the spiritual festivities at the Maha Kumbh with their families. Katrina Kaif, accompanied by her mother-in-law, visited the Parmarth Niketan camp, where she sought blessings from revered spiritual leaders. She met Swami Chidanand Saraswati and Sadhvi Bhagwati Saraswati, who blessed her and presented her with a Lord Shiva idol and a Rudraksha plant as a symbol of divine grace.
Sonali Bendre, on the other hand, took the holy dip in the sacred waters of Prayagraj along with her family. Describing her experience as deeply enriching, she shared, “I felt immense peace and positive energy in the sacred atmosphere of Maha Kumbh. Taking part in this divine gathering has strengthened my connection to Indian culture and spirituality.”
