Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to deliver a virtual address at the ‘Karyakar Suvarna Mahotsav’ of the BAPS Swaminarayan sect this Saturday in Ahmedabad, as announced by a sect leader. The grand golden jubilee event, hosted at the Narendra Modi Stadium, will also feature Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, and several state ministers and former officials.
The celebration aims to honor the contributions of 100,000 BAPS volunteers from around the world and pay tribute to the late Pramukh Swami Maharaj on his birth anniversary. Volunteers from over 30 countries, including the UK, the USA, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific regions, are expected to participate in the event.
Spiritual leader Brahmavihari Swami explained that the event’s purpose is to express gratitude and counter the prevailing negativity in the world by spreading positivity and enlightenment. He emphasized that over 2,000 volunteers, not professional performers, have prepared for the event to showcase inspirational stories and sacrifices.
The stadium’s field will be transformed into a dynamic stage featuring immersive presentations, performances, and videos highlighting the invaluable contributions of BAPS volunteers over the years. This celebration underscores the spirit of selfless service and the enduring legacy of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, aiming to inspire and enlighten attendees.
