Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong was among those who sent warm wishes to the Indian leader. Responding to the message, PM Modi highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two nations and expressed optimism about elevating the India-Singapore Comprehensive Strategic Partnership to greater heights in the years ahead.
The Prime Minister also thanked Guyanese President Dr. Irfaan Ali for his thoughtful remarks. Modi emphasized his commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation and advancing initiatives that contribute to the welfare and prosperity of citizens in both India and Guyana.
Acknowledging the message from US President Donald Trump, PM Modi reiterated his intention to work closely with the American administration to further expand the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. He noted that stronger collaboration between the two countries would benefit not only their respective populations but also the broader international community.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also congratulated Modi through a video message. In response, the Indian Prime Minister reaffirmed the enduring friendship between India and Israel, expressing confidence that ties between the two nations would continue to flourish in the future.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz extended his greetings as well, prompting PM Modi to reiterate India’s dedication to enhancing its strategic relationship with Germany. He underscored the significance of expanding cooperation across diverse sectors of mutual interest.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s message of congratulations was met with gratitude from Modi, who voiced his eagerness to build upon the momentum generated through the India-Italy Special Strategic Partnership. He emphasized the shared benefits such collaboration could bring to both nations.
PM Modi also acknowledged Bhutanese Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay for his heartfelt wishes, describing the India-Bhutan relationship as unique and deeply valued.
On June 10, Narendra Modi completed 4,399 days as India’s elected Prime Minister, surpassing the tenure of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. The achievement coincides with 12 years of the Modi-led government at the Centre, marking a notable chapter in the country’s democratic history.
