Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Bharatiya Janata Party workers following the party’s strong electoral performance in West Bengal, acknowledging their years of hard work and commitment in expanding the BJP’s presence in the state.
In a post shared on X, Modi said the BJP’s impressive success in Bengal was the result of the dedication and sacrifices made by party workers over several years. He emphasized that countless grassroots workers had continued to strengthen the organization despite facing numerous political and organizational challenges.
“BJP’s record win in West Bengal would not be possible without the efforts and struggles of countless Karyakartas over generations. I salute them all,” the Prime Minister wrote in his message.
He further stated that party workers had consistently promoted the BJP’s development agenda and remained committed to reaching people across the state. “For years, they have worked hard on the ground, overcome all sorts of adversities and spoken about our development agenda. They are the strength of our Party,” Modi added.
The Prime Minister’s statement came as election trends showed the BJP making major gains in West Bengal, with celebrations breaking out at party offices and among supporters in several regions. Leaders within the party described the performance as a significant political breakthrough in a state long dominated by regional political forces.
Political analysts noted that the BJP’s rise in Bengal has been driven by years of organizational expansion, aggressive campaigning, and increased outreach among different voter groups. The Prime Minister’s message was widely interpreted as recognition of the contribution made by local party workers who helped strengthen the BJP’s grassroots network.
The developments in West Bengal have become one of the biggest talking points of the ongoing Assembly election results due to the close political contest and the BJP’s growing influence in eastern India. Party leaders have projected the outcome as a sign of increasing support for the BJP’s governance and political vision.
Following Modi’s post, several BJP leaders and supporters shared the message on social media, calling it a tribute to the dedication of workers who contributed to the party’s expanding footprint in the state.
