The pilot, which will feature Garg’s unique style of clean, family-friendly comedy, is co-produced by a star-studded team including Mindy Kaling, Kevin Hart, and Jessica Kumai Scott, with Darlene Hunt also serving as writer, executive producer, and showrunner.
The show will depict Zarna as a proud immigrant woman who, after raising her American-born children with strong Indian values, begins to focus on pursuing her own American dream.
