With a remarkable approval rating of 75%, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again cemented his title as the “most popular” leader in the world.
The ratings of PM Modi put him ahead of other world leaders like Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, French President Emmanuel Macron, and US President Joe Biden, according to a recent survey by Morning Consult.
PM Modi has regularly kept his approval rating over 71% since the Global Leadership Approval project’s commencement in August 2019. His approval rating went over 75% in 2022, confirming his status as a respected worldwide leader.
The poll, which evaluated the opinions of 22 significant world leaders, found that PM Modi had higher approval ratings than other powerful people including Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and others.
According to the survey, just four of the 22 major national presidents had approval ratings within their own countries that were more than 50%.
Data for the most recent approval ratings were gathered from June 14 to June 23, 2023. The sample size for each country’s adult residents was different, and the ratings were based on a seven-day moving average of those populations.
Prime Minister Modi has previously topped the list of world leaders. He was the most well-liked leader in the world in both February and April, with an amazing approval rating of 78%.
US President Joe Biden is ranked ninth with a 40% approval rating, while British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is ranked fifteenth with a 31% approval rating.
