The US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) has joined forces with the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024, set to occur from January 10-12, 2024, in Gandhinagar. Spearheading a delegation of more than 35 Fortune American companies, including Salesforce, Abbott, Blackstone, HSBC, UPS, Micron, Cisco, SHRM, among others, USISPF aims to boost investments in Gujarat.
Emerson’s President and CEO, Lal Karsanbhai, will lead the delegation alongside USISPF President and CEO, Dr. Mukesh Aghi. The delegation’s focus includes leveraging India’s expertise in hi-tech manufacturing, particularly in semiconductors and chip manufacturing. Additionally, they will explore opportunities in energy transition, chemicals, industrial manufacturing, aerospace, and defense.
At the summit, USISPF will conduct two panel discussions on January 11. The first, in partnership with iCreate, will explore catalyzing innovation in the vibrant start-up ecosystem of both countries. The second panel will delve into collaboration opportunities in manufacturing and global value chains, emphasizing growth and mutual benefit.
Dr. Aghi highlighted the summit’s significance, noting its evolution under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership and India’s remarkable economic growth. Lal Karsanbhai praised Gujarat’s economic prowess, emphasizing the collaborative opportunities between the two nations.
