Congressman Jonathan L. Jackson of Illinois honoured Dr. Hetal Gor in the House of Representatives, applauding her exceptional service to both community and culture. His tribute was formally recorded in the Congressional Record and will be archived in the Library of Congress.
Dr. Gor, a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, has dedicated her career to advancing women’s health, championing healthcare equity, and serving underrepresented communities. Her global approach to medicine combines innovation, compassion, and leadership.
Dr. Gor, who holds dual MD degrees and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, serves as the Medical Director of Women’s Own OB/GYN and BetterU Medical Spa, while also leading as CEO of Healthmedia LLC.
She has earned multiple honours, such as the Top Doctor Award, Compassionate Doctor Award, and International Women Award for Balancing Career and Family. Beyond her clinical achievements, Dr. Gor is the chair-elect of the AAPI Board of Trustees and a trailblazing civic leader.
Through organizing free health fairs in Bergen County, she has expanded preventive care and health education. Her advocacy for minority women, immigrants, and small business owners is widely respected, and her leadership reflects values of justice, inclusion, and empowerment.
