The sudden demise of actor Kollam Sudhi has left his family in a state of shock. Sudhi shared a close bond with his second wife, Renu, who stood by him during his difficult times and financial struggles.
Sadly, his untimely demise comes at a time when things were starting to look promising for the family. For the past one-and-a-half years, Sudhi and his family had been living in Renu’s house in Njaliyankuzhi, Kottayam. Renu’s parents also resided with them. It was from this house that the talented artist set off for Vadakara to perform in a program.
A large crowd comprising friends, colleagues, and relatives are gathering at Sudhi’s house to bid him their final farewell.
Although Sudhi faced challenges in his early days, he gained immense popularity through television shows like ‘Comedy Stars’ and ‘Comedy Festival,’ especially for his skits and witty comebacks.
Tragically, Sudhi, aged 39, lost his life in a car accident at 4:30 am today when the vehicle he was traveling in collided with a pickup van near Kaipamangalam, close to Thrissur. Despite being rushed to a private hospital in Kodungallur, his life could not be saved.
Three other mimicry artists, namely Binu Adimali, Ullas, and Mahesh, were also present in the car and sustained injuries. They were returning home after a program in Vatakara.
