Bollywood stars Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor will share the screen for the first time in Dinesh Vijan’s upcoming film Param Sundari. Directed by Tushar Jalota, this cross-cultural love story is set against the scenic backwaters of Kerala and is slated for theatrical release on July 25, 2025.
On December 24, the makers unveiled the first-look posters on social media, revealing Sidharth’s stylish casual look and Janhvi’s vibrant ethnic attire. Another poster showcased the pair in traditional South Indian outfits, with Sidharth carrying Janhvi in his arms, stirring excitement among fans.
Param Sundari narrates the story of a North Indian boy who falls for a South Indian beauty, exploring the dynamics of two contrasting cultures. Fans have already expressed their anticipation, with comments like “Siddharth looking superb in South Indian attire” and “Janhvi ki smile aur Sid ka swag – dream couple vibes.”
The film is backed by Maddock Films, which had a stellar 2024, grossing $156 million in box office revenue on a production budget of $18 million. The production house, known for hits like Stree 2 and Munjya, also released Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya in theatres and OTT projects Murder Mubarak and Sector 36 on Netflix.
Sidharth was last seen in Yodha, while Janhvi delivered a hit with the Telugu action drama Devara: Part 1. Fans eagerly await the duo’s on-screen chemistry in this unique love story.
