According to Jitendra Singh, the Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology, Chandrayaan-3 will pave the way for new opportunities globally. During an interview with a prominent business newspaper, Singh stated that Chandrayaan-1, India’s previous mission, shed light on various aspects of the moon, including the groundbreaking discovery of water on its surface. Now, the entire world eagerly anticipates Chandrayaan-3, hoping it will unveil more secrets and mysteries of the moon and the universe.
Singh emphasized that Chandrayaan-3 represents a significant stride towards the moon, proving that India is not falling behind in lunar exploration compared to other countries. He highlighted that the mission’s unique feature is not only observing the Moon from the Moon itself but also capturing the view of Earth from the Moon. This achievement positions India as part of an exclusive group of three or four nations in the world.
