Sharmin Ali, a celebrated Indian-American entrepreneur and bestselling author based in New York, is set to unveil her third book, “BITCH, STOP! PLEASE..: An Entrepreneur’s Journey of Innovation from Chaos to Clarity,” on April 8, 2025.
In this deeply personal narrative, Ali takes readers through her evolution—from her childhood in India to establishing herself as a powerhouse in the startup and tech industries. With a successful track record that includes a startup exit worth eight figures and over $20 million raised in funding, she offers a rare, unfiltered perspective on what it takes to thrive in the high-pressure world of entrepreneurship.
The book is divided into four distinctive chapters—Excitement, Plateau, Orgasm, and Resolution—mirroring the emotional rollercoaster faced by every founder. Through honest storytelling, Ali dives into the real-life challenges and breakthroughs behind building businesses, navigating uncertainty, and rediscovering clarity amidst chaos.
“Entrepreneurship goes beyond metrics and successful exits—it’s rooted in resilience, openness, and learning from failure,” says Ali. “This book honours that journey and aims to inspire dreamers around the world.”
Complementing the launch, Ali recently introduced the Sharmin Ali Foundation for Entrepreneurs (SAFE), an initiative focused on delivering mental health resources tailored to startup founders. With SAFE, she hopes to tackle the emotional burdens often sidelined in startup culture.
