Senator Bernie Moreno, R-Ohio, publicly endorsed Vivek Ramaswamy for Ohio governor over the weekend. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Moreno expressed his support, stating, “Ohio’s future has never been brighter, and Vivek is the right man for the moment!”
Ramaswamy, a prominent entrepreneur and conservative commentator, has already received the endorsement of former President Donald Trump, strengthening his position in the competitive GOP primary.
Other Republican candidates in the race include Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost and Heather Hill, a Black entrepreneur from Appalachia. On the Democratic side, former state health director Dr. Amy Acton is currently the only announced candidate.
As the race for Governor Mike DeWine’s seat heats up, Ramaswamy’s growing list of endorsements signals a potentially strong campaign in the crowded field.
