On May 31, 2025, Sai Mandir USA—the first Saibaba temple in the U.S. founded by Dr. Dattatreyudu Nori—commemorated its Silver Jubilee at Hicksville Middle School in New York. The joyous occasion attracted more than 750 devotees from across the Tri-State area, reflecting the temple’s enduring spiritual and cultural influence over the past 25 years.
The celebration began with light refreshments, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and concluded with a traditional Mahaprasadam feast. The program featured an array of captivating performances, including a musical segment by “Kala Ratna” Sri Parupalli Sriranganath, a senior musician from TTD, and a special appearance by renowned singer Sunitha, who served as the event’s Guest of Honor.
The event was honored by the presence of Binaya S. Pradhan, Consul General of India in New York, as the Chief Guest. The evening featured a vibrant mix of cultural performances, including a youth dance by Maheswari, a dramatic portrayal of Baba’s life by Ashok Chintakunta, and a deeply moving classical music performance by Sadhana Paranji.
Dr. Dattatreyudu Nori was lauded by community leaders and dignitaries for his visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to promoting spiritual growth and unity among the Indian community in the U.S. The success of the event was credited to the diligent efforts of the Event Chair, Kiran Parvathala, along with the core team and volunteers from New York, whose commitment and organization made the milestone celebration possible.
