On the spiritually significant day of Ram Navami, more than 200 people came together to witness a historic milestone—the foundation-laying ceremony of the Sadhu Vaswani Center for World Peace. This event marked the official start of a sanctuary envisioned by the revered Dada J.P. Vaswani, designed to be a beacon of peace and spiritual upliftment in the Western world.
Leading the ceremony was Didi Krishna Kumari, the spiritual head of the Sadhu Vaswani Mission. She deliberately chose Ram Navami to symbolize the divine purpose behind the new center. According to her, this upcoming spiritual hub will not only foster peace but also enshrine a special memorial in honor of Sadhu T.L. Vaswani and Dada J.P. Vaswani.
The event opened with a heartfelt rendition of the World Peace Song by Mohit Budhwani and children from the Sadhu Vaswani Gurukul, capturing the spirit of nurturing peace through youth. In a moment deeply rooted in tradition, a sacred text was selected for divine guidance—the Anjali Sangrah, a heartfelt compilation of Dada J.P. Vaswani’s poetry and messages.
Long-time devotee Nirmal Mirchandani read a soul-stirring passage: “The embodiment of Love is opening the doors of hearts… igniting the eternal light.” His emotional reading left many in tears, seeing it as a spiritual sign of Dada’s continued presence—fulfilling his promise that he would return where peace was needed most.
The event saw participation across generations, united by a shared commitment to spreading compassion and harmony.
Slated for completion within 18 months, the center will feature a memorial shrine, meditation halls, a children’s Gurukul, wellness zones, a spiritual library, and a serene Peace Park with lotus-shaped meditation pods and reflecting pools.
An extension of the Pune-based Sadhu Vaswani Mission, which spans over 70 centers worldwide, this new center continues to champion the teachings of Sadhu T.L. and Dada J.P. Vaswani under the dedicated leadership of Didi Krishna Kumari.
