Raj Subramaniam, the President and CEO of FedEx Corporation, will receive the 2023 Pinnacle Award at the 2023 Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award. The award is presented by the Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC) and recognizes those who have reached the pinnacle of their professional careers. Subramaniam will be honored along with 50 other Asian American executives at a gala dinner on September 21.
John Wang, President and Founder of AABDC, praised Subramaniam’s leadership in the logistics and supply chain industry, stating that he serves as an inspiration and role model for the Asian American professional community. Subramaniam, who immigrated to the United States in 1987 to attend Syracuse University, has earned several accolades, including the 2023 Horatio Alger Award for overcoming adversity to achieve success.
With over 30 years of industry experience at FedEx, Subramaniam’s leadership and global perspective have contributed to the company’s success as it revolutionizes the transportation and logistics sector.
In addition to honoring Subramaniam, AABDC will pay tribute to the legacy of Ivan Menezes, CEO of Diageo, with a special Ivan Lifetime Achievement Award. Menezes, who passed away in June, was a respected FTSE Chief Executive known for transforming Diageo into a leading premium drinks company.
The awards ceremony typically gathers more than 600 business, political, and civic leaders to recognize outstanding entrepreneurs and corporate executives in the Asian American business community across the United States.
