Priyanka Chopra has teased her fans with the exciting possibility of returning to Bollywood next year. The actress, who has been busy with international projects such as Citadel, revealed at the Red Sea Film Festival that she is very close to signing a new Bollywood project for 2025. She expressed her deep connection to India and Indian cinema, saying, “India has always been in my heart. Indian films will always be a part of me.” Chopra also added, “I’m very close to doing one next year, so keep your fingers crossed. Send good vibes that it works out.”
The actress, who has been focusing on Western films and web series, mentioned that she misses the energy of Indian sets, particularly the dance sequences. In a conversation with Variety, she shared her desire to seek out new challenges and work with filmmakers who can push her boundaries and explore deeper, more varied roles.
Fans have been eagerly anticipating Chopra’s return to Hindi cinema after her last film in 2019, The Sky Is Pink. She had previously announced her participation in Jee Le Zaraa with Farhan Akhtar, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. However, the project has yet to move forward, leading to speculation that it might have been delayed or shelved due to the actresses’ busy schedules.
On the international front, Chopra will appear next in Heads of State and The Bluff, and will also feature in the second season of Citadel.
