On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the BJP headquarters to express his gratitude to the officials for their efforts in securing the party’s third term in office. The event, dubbed ‘Sneh Milan,’ marked his first engagement with party staff since beginning his third term.
Upon arrival, PM Modi was warmly received by BJP President and Union Minister J.P. Nadda, along with Party General Secretary (Organisation) B.L. Santhosh and General Secretary Arun Singh. The gathering, which lasted about two and a half hours, provided a platform for Modi to address the staff.
In his address, PM Modi emphasized the familial bond among party members and recounted his experiences from his earlier roles within the party, both in Gujarat and on a national level. He highlighted how the party thrived despite resource constraints, attributing its success to the dedication and hard work of its members.
Modi expressed his appreciation for the staff’s commitment, particularly their willingness to forgo holidays and work tirelessly during the Lok Sabha elections. He underscored the importance of the party organization, noting that every staff member plays a crucial role.
Additionally, PM Modi took the opportunity to reconnect with senior staffers from his previous tenure, reinforcing the personal connections and shared history within the party.
