Modi’s campaign in Delhi is strategically significant as the BJP aims to challenge the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in light of the alleged Swati Maliwal assault case. The BJP is using this incident to criticize the AAP’s leadership, accusing them of complicity and direct involvement in the mistreatment of their female colleagues. The BJP portrays this as an issue of leadership failure, with figures such as Kejriwal being held accountable.
In West Bengal, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will conduct three public meetings in the Kanthi, Ghatal, and Purulia Lok Sabha segments and participate in a roadshow in the Bankura Lok Sabha seat, all of which will vote in the sixth phase on May 25. Nadda will also campaign in West Bengal, addressing three public meetings in the Barasat, Kolkata Uttar, and Kolkata Dakshin Lok Sabha seats, which will go to the polls in the final phase on June 1.

In the evening, he will attend an event in Panchkula, part of the Ambala Lok Sabha constituency. The Congress has fielded Rao Dan Singh against the BJP’s Dharambir Singh in Bhiwani-Mahendragarh, while Satpal Brahmachari will contest against the BJP’s Mohan Lal Badoli in Sonipat. In Ambala, MLA Varun Chaudhary will face off against the BJP’s Banto Kataria.
