Prime Minister Narendra Modi attributed the remarkable ability of NDA-led states to attract substantial investments to their streamlined business environment, highlighting the reduced bureaucratic hurdles, swift decision-making on policy matters, and a governance system free from corruption. He made these comments during a meeting with chief ministers and deputy chief ministers from NDA-ruled states on Thursday. Modi emphasized the importance of adopting a “pro-people, pro-active good governance” (P2G2) approach and urged NDA legislators to engage more actively with each other via social media to enhance cooperation and governance.
The meeting, which took place in Chandigarh, brought together leaders from 17 NDA-ruled states, including 13 BJP-led governments, as well as key ministers such as Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. The prime minister stressed the critical role of citizen participation in governance. He noted that streamlined governance, rapid policy decision-making, and high levels of transparency have played a pivotal role in making these states appealing to investors. Modi elaborated on the P2G2 model, calling for enhanced interaction between NDA states, particularly among ministers and lawmakers, and encouraged them to leverage social media to foster stronger connections.
