Prime Minister Narendra Modi met US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan on Monday to highlight the growing India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. The partnership has reached new heights in areas such as technology, defense, space, biotechnology, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Modi expressed his eagerness to build on this momentum for the benefit of both nations and global progress.
Sullivan’s visit also included a meeting with External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, where both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral, regional, and global cooperation. Jaishankar acknowledged Sullivan’s contribution to strengthening the India-US relationship.
During his visit to IIT Delhi, Sullivan reflected on his tenure as NSA, calling his trip to India his final overseas visit. He emphasized the historic advancements made between the two nations and expressed confidence that American and Indian firms will collaborate on next-generation semiconductor technologies, while astronauts from both countries will work together on space exploration in the coming years.
