Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled four books related to India’s successful G20 presidency at the G20 University Connect Finale. These books are now accessible in e-book format on the G20India website and app.
A book named” Showcasing Indian Culture at G- 20″ vividly depicts the immense variety of Indian culture showcased to G20 representatives throughout the country.
India’s G20 presidency offered a platform to showcase its rich cultural heritage and establish itself as a prime tourist destination. It marked the first time G20 events were held in every state and union territory of India, allowing each region to highlight its cultural treasures.
During this presidency, India spotlighted its diverse cultural heritage, including performing arts, visual arts, heritage sites, and culinary traditions, fostering cross-cultural understanding among member nations.
Furthermore, India’s G20 presidency emphasized its cultural and tourism sectors, demonstrating its economic potential and cultural richness. It featured various classical, folk, and tribal performances from Kashmir to Andaman and Nicobar, reflecting India’s multicultural society.
The G20 University Connect initiative aimed to educate India’s youth about the G20 Presidency and enhance their involvement in related events.
Prime Minister Modi also launched other publications, including “The Grand Success of G20 Bharat Presidency: Visionary Leadership, Inclusive Approach,” “India’s G20 Presidency: Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,” and “Compendium of G20 University Connect Programme” on this occasion.
