Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are hoping for a future free from “corruption, terrorism, and separatism,” ensuring peace and a brighter future for their children. Speaking at an election rally held at M A M Stadium in support of BJP candidates, the Prime Minister highlighted the historic opportunity for voters in Jammu to shape the next government.
Urging voters to seize the moment, Modi encouraged them to choose the BJP. He expressed confidence, stating, “The high voter turnout in the first two phases of the election clearly points towards the BJP securing its first government with an absolute majority in Jammu and Kashmir.”
This marks Modi’s third visit to the region and his fourth election rally in just two weeks. He previously addressed a rally in Doda on September 14, prior to the first phase of the elections, followed by rallies in Srinagar and Katra on September 19 ahead of the second phase.
As the campaigning for the final 40 assembly seats, covering seven districts (24 in Jammu and 16 in Kashmir), nears its end, political momentum is building, with the final push set to conclude by Sunday evening.
