India’s GDP grew by a substantial 8.4 percent in the October-December quarter, maintaining its position as the fastest-growing major economy. The country’s GDP growth for the current financial year is projected at 7 percent by the Reserve Bank of India, reflecting the strong domestic demand driving economic growth.
