Expressing his enthusiasm on social media, Modi mentioned his intention to enhance cooperation between India and France and highlighted his upcoming engagement with the Indian community. At his hotel, he interacted with children and members of the Indian diaspora, who warmly welcomed him.
Prime Minister Modi emphasized the significance of his visit, particularly the opportunity to join President Macron for the Bastille Day celebrations. Strengthening bilateral defense ties is expected to be a major focus of their discussions. Modi expressed confidence that the visit would invigorate the strategic partnership between India and France, which spans diverse areas such as defense, space, civil nuclear, trade, investment, and cultural exchanges.
Modi is also scheduled to meet with other French leaders, including Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne, Senate President Gerard Larcher, and National Assembly President Yael Braun-Pivet. Additionally, he will engage with the vibrant Indian community, prominent French personalities, and CEOs from both countries.
