Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to Russia, expressed his commitment to intensifying efforts and accelerating progress towards India’s goals, emphasizing the nation’s ability to achieve any set objective. Addressing the Indian community in Moscow, PM Modi highlighted India’s achievements, particularly in digital transactions and space exploration, underscoring the country’s transformation and global contributions.
Reflecting on his third term as Prime Minister, PM Modi pledged to triple his efforts and speed to achieve ambitious targets, coinciding with the government’s focus on becoming the world’s third-largest economy and ensuring widespread socio-economic empowerment. He outlined initiatives to build three crore homes for the underprivileged and create opportunities for three crore financially empowered women through self-help groups.
PM Modi credited the Indian diaspora for their support in realizing these objectives, citing their blessings as instrumental in overcoming challenges and achieving significant milestones. He pointed to India’s increasing global prominence in sectors such as technology, startups, and infrastructure development, noting substantial advancements over the past decade.
Expressing gratitude to the attendees, PM Modi conveyed the essence of India’s culture and goodwill to Russia, symbolizing unity and shared aspirations. The event was attended by senior Indian officials, including External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and India’s Ambassador to Russia, Vinay Kumar, signifying the importance of India-Russia relations and collaborative efforts towards mutual growth.
Earlier, PM Modi’s informal meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Novo-Ogaryovo residence underscored the warmth and strength of bilateral ties, marked by a ceremonial welcome and enthusiastic reception from the Indian community in Moscow.
