Anand Ganjam, an Indian American and a member of the Penn State class of 2015, has recently taken on the role of President of the Penn State Alumni Association for a two-year term, making him the 83rd president and the youngest in the association’s history.
Expressing his gratitude for the new position, Ganjam stated, “It is the honor of a lifetime to serve as president of the largest and greatest Alumni Association in the world.” He also pledged to assist students and fellow alumni in his capacity as the head of the association.
The CEO of the Alumni Association, Paul Clifford, commended Ganjam for bringing a fresh perspective to the role of president and praised his leadership qualities in navigating change with passion and purpose, which will undoubtedly benefit Penn State.
Ganjam has been a lifelong member of the Penn State Alumni Association and has been involved with the Alumni Council since 2014. Over the years, he has served on various committees and boards for different associations and universities, culminating in his election as vice president in 2021.
Professionally, Ganjam holds the position of a strategy and consulting senior manager with Accenture, gaining experience across multiple industries. He has been a strong advocate for financial wellness and has spearheaded numerous initiatives at Accenture and Penn State to enhance financial literacy through educational sessions and open dialogues.
